StarRescue

The main object of Star Rescue is to enable prevention and relief of suffering for animals (primarily the domestic dog, domestic cat and feral cat).

Star Rescue CLG is based in Limerick but is not limited to this county. We halp animals in need all over the the irish republic.

Star Rescue, through a network of dedicated individuals, assists abandoned, sick , injured and unwanted animals. Animals in the care of Star rescue will receive appropriate veterinary care and be assessed and prepared for loving homes.

Star Rescue CLG aims to fulfil this commitment for Irish feral cats colonies through the process of trap, neuter , return (TNR). All animals have an intrinsic value and should be treated with respect and dignity and protected accordingly.

Our rescue community is engaged internationally in animal welfare concerns. We also aim to assist in the improvement of animal welfare internationally by providing food and related vet care cost assistance in the case of poverty, war, climate change and natural disasters. This is done either directly by Star rescue or via funding of in-situ organisations at the frontline.
